What Knot To Do: Retrieval Of A Kinked and Trapped Coronary Catheter (JACC: Case Reports September 2020)
Diagnostic coronary artery catheter knotting and kinking is an uncommon but potentially catastrophic complication. Our case emphasizes the importance of avoiding this and provides recommendations for retrieval in the unlikely event of this complication. To our knowledge, the technique employed in our case has not been described before.
