This activity was planned with a goal to enable participants to evaluate and select evidence-based interventions and contemporary approaches for the treatment and control of hypertension, especially for patients at high-risk.  This activity is part of the Contemporary Approaches to Hypertension Management grant project.

The American College of Cardiology Foundation has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1.5 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid until March 24, 2024. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

Target Audience: 

The primary target audience is general cardiologists as well as hypertension specialists, and advanced practice providers including nurse practitioners, physician assistants and pharmacists.
