Program Components
Educational Modules
A collection of short modules on bias, study design, statistics, and structuring a high-quality peer review.
Practice Peer Reviews of Manuscripts
Evaluate initial drafts of real JACC manuscript submissions and compare your assessment of their strengths and weaknesses to the original peer reviewers' assessments.
Final Assessment
Provide your own peer review of a sample manuscript. Your peer review will be evaluated by faculty who will score your review based on a standard rubric, which is described in the educational modules. The faculty will provide a pass/fail score and add comments on your final peer review submission. Participants who do not achieve a passing score on the first attempt may submit a second final assessment.
Dates
Program participants must have completed the program by December 20, 2024.
