Challenges in Contemporary Cardiac Care: A Case-Based Module

Description

In support of the ACC’s Health Equity Strategy, this educational activity is designed to inspire and achieve a culture of health where every person reaches their full cardiovascular health potential as a natural right. The course includes two primary resources:

Heart2Heart Stage Session entitled, Making Progress in Health Equity: In My Clinical Practice, Today, which reviews definitions and concepts related to health equity. It also incorporates case studies that highlight health inequities in varied practice settings and patient populations.
JACC article entitled, Paving the Way for Health Equity in Cardiology, which articulates the creation of the path to health equity in the cardiovascular field.

Please start by completing a short Pre-Test to assess your knowledge in Health Equity. If you don't pass on your first attempt, it is recommended that you watch the presentation Making Progress in Health Equity: In My Clinical Practice, Today.
