Challenges in Contemporary Cardiac Care: A Case-Based Module
Description

In support of the ACC’s Health Equity Strategy, this educational activity is designed to inspire and achieve a culture of health where every person reaches their full cardiovascular health potential as a natural right. The course includes two primary resources:

  • Heart2Heart Stage Session entitled, Making Progress in Health Equity: In My Clinical Practice, Today, which reviews definitions and concepts related to health equity. It also incorporates case studies that highlight health inequities in varied practice settings and patient populations.
  • JACC article entitled, Paving the Way for Health Equity in Cardiology, which articulates the creation of the path to health equity in the cardiovascular field.
