Acute Left Ventricular Systolic Dysfunction Following Device Closure of Ruptured Sinus of Valsalva Aneurysm (JACC: Case Reports February 2022-2)
Description

Acute cardio-respiratory distress following device closure of RSOV aneurysm can have a battery of differentials. We report a case of acute LV dysfunction with aspiration causing cardio-respiratory distress immediately following RSOV device closure. Supportive medical therapy led to complete recovery.
