Description
This activity was planned with a goal to enable participants to utilize guideline-driven assessment and diagnosis strategies leading to appropriate treatment options for patients with severe aortic stenosis. This activity is part of the Severe Aortic Stenosis: Essentials for Assessment and Diagnosis grant project.

Successful completion of this CME/CNE/MOC/AAPA activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to .25 Medical Knowledge MOC point in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. 
 
Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

AAPA Credit Designation Statement 
The American College of Cardiology Foundation has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for .25 AAPA Category 1 CME credits.

Upon completion of this activity, you should be able to:  

  • Interpret diagnostic findings from multimodality imaging such as echocardiography, stress testing, and computed tomography in the diagnosis of suspected aortic stenosis.
