Upon completion of this activity, you should be able to:
- Identify HCM pathophysiology.
- Identify key signs and symptoms of HCM.
- Identify the stepwise approach to a high-quality HCM echo.
- Select accurate settings (gain, resolution, frame rate, depth, probe orientation, etc.) in order to acquire high-quality images and loops for optimal measurements and interpretation.
- Effectively communicate detailed quantifications and clear interpretation to the recipient of the echo report.
