Incidence and Predictors of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Sarcoidosis: A Nationwide Analysis - JCEP September 2021
Incidence and Predictors of Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Sarcoidosis: A Nationwide Analysis - JCEP September 2021
Electrocardiographic evidence of AV nodal dysfunction or distal conduction disease should raise suspicion for cardiac involvement in patients with sarcoidosis and are associated with increased risk of SCA. ECG markers could help identify patients who would benefit from advanced imaging. The sensitivity of electrocardiograms is however limited and presence of a normal ECG does not reflect a low-risk of SCA.
