Upon completion of this activity, you should be able to:

1. Describe the current epidemiology, natural history, and clinical consequences of untreated moderate and severe aortic stenosis, including recent evidence supporting earlier intervention.  
2. Analyze echocardiographic data, including discordant or ambiguous findings, to accurately grade aortic stenosis severity and determine appropriate management strategies, including surveillance versus referral for intervention.
