Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, you should be able to: 

  1. Distinguish between the diverse clinical presentations of PSVT, ranging from asymptomatic occurrences to severe symptoms with a focus on understanding the impact of symptoms on the patient’s quality of life. 
  2. Utilize a comprehensive and guideline-driven diagnostic approach that incorporates a thorough history, physical exam, and electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring including consumer wearable devices. 
  3. Evaluate existing and emerging treatment strategies for PSVT, including their efficacy, safety profiles, and impact on health care utilization and hospitalizations. 
  4. Discuss the importance of the multi-disciplinary professional healthcare team in providing the PSVT patient with educational resources and supporting shared decision-making discussion about treatment options.
