Fulminant Giant Cell Myocarditis Requiring Bridge with Mechanical Circulatory Support to Heart Transplantation (JACC: Case Reports March 2022-2)

Giant cell myocarditis is a rare cause of cardiogenic shock requiring a high index of suspicion, rapid immunosuppressive therapy, and mechanical circulatory support.
