To generate powerful evidence from Real-World Data, researchers must plan their approach and conduct analysis carefully, with methods that can differ from more traditional RCT’s. In this session, Dr. Elisabetta Patorno provides insights into how to start by correctly framing the clinical question, explores how to control for confounders, and provides examples of effective study designs using RWD. Learners will also gain a deeper understanding of appropriate RWD analysis to provide valid clinical answers.
Learning ObjectiveUpon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate study designs and analytical techniques most frequently used to generate Real-World Evidence in cardiovascular research.
